I don’t think I’ve ever had a dream about flying. Weird. But for some reason, I often find myself on a vacant cruise ship. Maybe that’s even weirder.

Oh, yes, I fly! Not only do I fly, but in my dream I realize that I have this secret ability, and that others do not. I specifically dream that I want others to learn to fly as well. I fly between trees, over houses, and can see so much countryside. I love those dreams. I know that they come when I am dealing with certain things, but I haven’t put my finger on what exactly it is that triggers them.

I have ALWAYS flown up and down stairs in my dreams. It has never stopped, I still do it. Since my children were born, I can also hover. I move my feet in an up/down kind of way and lift off the ground. Steering is done by leaning. Not quite flying, but still cool! 🙂

Sadly, I don’t fly in my dreams. 🙁 But I wish I did! My dreams are almost always about missing a deadline (It’s finals week of college, I’ve not been to class since the first day, but somehow I’ve convinced myself I can read the entire book and cram for the final and still pass it…if only I can find the classroom!).

I like your idea of flying dreams much better!

I can’t remember ever flying without being in a plane..that wasn’t fun because I always seemed to be going into hydro wires..and then just missing them..and repeated over and over…But flying without a plane…no…but would like to ….Diane

Hey, I fly in real life. With no wires or anything.
I did have a reoccurring dream where I was standing on the grass field by my high school and I kept jumping higher and higher until I was hundreds of feet in the air, and I would come down slowly and do it over and over.

I know I used to fly in my dreams – the last one I can remember I was flying over a big crowd at a stadium or something & then realized I had no clothes on. I think this was the last flying dream I had. I have lots of the dreams where you wake up with a start like you’ve just fallen off the ceiling, but I rarely have a falling dream. I read once if you feel like you’ve just fallen from the ceiling, it’s your spirit or soul returning to your body after it’s been on a walk about. So when you feel like you’re having deja vu, sometimes it’s because your spirit has already done this when it was outside your body.
